In Lano, payroll cycles for EOR employees are managed as a single consolidated cycle. All EOR employees across all company entities are included in one cycle for simplified management.

A new cycle is automatically created as soon as the previous one reaches its cut-off date. This means: The “To Review” stage begins right after the cut-off date of the previous cycle, and remains open until the cut-off date of the current one. This rolling timeline ensures there’s always a window available for submitting payroll updates.

When using EOR services in Lano, your company can choose from two payment models:
Full Payment at Month-End: You pay the total monthly cost per employee — including salary, employment costs, and fees — after payroll processing is complete.
Pre-funding + Settling: You pay a pre-funding invoice at the beginning of the month to cover expected costs. After payroll is processed, settling invoices per employee are issued to reflect final amounts.
Each cycle provides two main views:

Past, current, and upcoming stages with timeframes
Descriptions and visual indicators
Option to View completed stages for detailed history
Click any stage to view details and associated files.

All monetary values are shown in your company's preferred currency, converted automatically.
Clicking an employee row opens the pay item details modal, where:
Left side lists pay items for that cycle
Right side shows item details
If the cycle is in To Review or Processing, you can edit or add pay items.
How to Submit or Edit Payroll Changes
This is your window for submitting:
Payroll changes (bonuses, salary adjustments, etc.)
New hires or offboarding
PTO, expenses, and overtime

After the current cycle’s cut-off date, the status changes to Processing, and Lano begins reviewing and consolidating submitted data. You can still view the cycle and, where allowed, edit pay items.
Lano shares individual invoices per employee, detailing total compensation and costs.
The cycle automatically closes when its end date is reached. Files remain accessible.
This is your window for submitting:
Payroll changes (bonuses, salary adjustments, etc.)
New hires or offboarding
PTO, expenses, and overtime
At this stage, Lano issues a pre-funding invoice covering the estimated monthly cost for all included EOR employees. This invoice must be paid before the cycle can move forward to processing.
