The Payroll for Providers (p4p) service is a white-label solution designed for payroll providers who want to bring their own clients onto the Lano platform. With p4p, Lano delivers the technology, infrastructure, and optional Employer of Record (EOR) support, while the partner remains in charge of payroll execution and client relationships.
Unlike standard Lano users (businesses and their employees managed by Lano's own payroll and EOR partners), p4p introduces a new structure:
P4p partner brings their own clients and employees
Lano powers the platform, infrastructure, and EOR services when needed
Branding is co-presented: "Your payroll powered by Lano"
This model offers greater flexibility for payroll providers who want to use Lano's global platform while maintaining direct ownership of their client relationships.
In the Lano ecosystem, p4p introduces three new user types:
P4p payroll provider — The partner offering payroll services via the p4p model
P4p client/business — The end business brought in by the p4p partner
P4p employee — The employee of a p4p client
These user types operate within a separate logic layer from Lano's own clients, ensuring clear boundaries in access, control, and responsibility.
The p4p service creates a collaborative setup:
The p4p partner: Acts as the payroll provider, responsible for processing payroll
The p4p client (business): The end business using the payroll service
The p4p employee: Hired by the client, visible in the platform as a team member
Lano: Provides the software, workflows, optional EOR service layer, and handles tech support for all users and parties involved

The p4p service is co-branded. That means the platform experience clearly communicates:
"Your payroll powered by Lano" as a tagline
Visual presence of both Lano and the partner's logo
Clear communication that payroll is provided by the partner, while Lano powers the technology
This creates transparency for end clients and employees, while reinforcing the partner's brand.
