Adding a New Entity in Lano

Adding a New Entity in Lano

You can add and manage new entities directly in Lano from the client-side interface. Once created, the entity can be used for invoicing and EOR operations.

When to Add an Entity

Create a new entity when you:

  • Expand operations into a new country

  • Need to separate payrolls, contracts, or invoicing by legal structure

  • Want to set up Employer of Record (EOR) services for a new market

By default, each new entity also becomes its own billing entity, though this setting can be changed.

Required Information

To add a new entity, you’ll need to provide the following:

  • Legal name

  • Registered address

  • VAT number (if applicable)

The preferred currency for each entity is set automatically based on the registered address you provide. This currency is used across the platform for calculations, billing, and reimbursement defaults.

All details must be up to date. Once submitted, they can be edited from the entity details page.

How to Add an Entity

  1. Go to Settings → Organization

  2. Click Add a New Entity

  3. Fill in all required information

  4. Click Add Entity to complete the creation

Once submitted, Lano receives a notification and will review and finalize the setup on our end.

⚠️  Currently, you can only manually add resident entities. To add a non-resident entity, please contact our team at customersuccess@lano.io

Lano Services for New Entities

  • Employer of Record (EOR) is available immediately for newly created entities.
