Didn't receive your login code or reset email?

Overview

Since 15 July 2026, two-factor authentication is enabled on every Lano account. Each time you sign in, a 6-digit security code is sent to your registered email address:

Sender: Lano - noreply@lano.io

Subject: Log in security code

Password-reset emails come from the same sender. If a code or reset link hasn't arrived, work through these steps in order - they resolve the vast majority of cases:

1. Wait two minutes, then check spam and junk. Codes usually arrive within seconds but can be briefly delayed. Search your mailbox for "Lano" - some providers file automated mail under Promotions or Updates tabs.

2. Add noreply@lano.io to your safe senders / contacts, then request a new code from the login screen. Corporate mail filters are the most common blocker.

3. Check you're using the exact email address registered with Lano. Codes can only be sent to the address on your account. Watch for:

  • A different address than you expect (e.g. a personal vs. work address used at registration)

  • Email aliases with a "+" (like name+lano@company.com) - these are not reliably supported. If your account was registered with an alias, contact us to change it to the plain address.

  • A typo made at registration - if you never received any email from Lano, this is the likely cause.

4. If you share login credentials with colleagues, codes will behave unpredictably. The code goes to the registered address, and sign-ins from different people and locations each trigger their own verification. The fix is one account per person - contact us and we'll set the additional users up.

5. Still nothing after two new-code requests? Contact us at help@lano.io or through your Platform Experience Manager, and tell us the exact email address. Two things can block delivery on our side, and both are fixed in minutes once you write in:

  • Your address is on our email suppression list. If an email to you ever hard-bounced (mailbox full, address briefly invalid, strict server rules), our email system automatically stops sending to that address to protect deliverability. We can check the delivery log and remove you from the list - then simply request a new code.

  • A temporary sending-server issue. Very occasionally our email provider's sending address is flagged by an external spam-protection service because of other senders sharing the infrastructure. This resolves automatically as the provider rotates addresses - a new code request a few minutes later typically goes through. We can confirm from the delivery logs whether this affected you.

Tip: never share a login code with anyone. Lano staff will never ask you for it.
