Once your entity is created in Lano, you can update certain details directly through the platform — such as the registered address and billing entity. Other core fields, like legal name or VAT number, require assistance from the Lano team.
As a business user, you can update the following information at any time:
Registered address
Billing entity
Each new entity is its own billing entity by default, but this can be changed later.
The following details cannot be edited directly in the app:
Legal name
Preferred currency
VAT number
The preferred currency is automatically set based on the registered address at the time of entity creation. This currency is used across the platform for calculations, billing, and reimbursement defaults.
If you need to make changes to these fields, please contact our team at customersuccess@lano.io
The billing entity is the legal entity responsible for paying invoices related to Global Payroll or EOR services provided to the current entity. This allows companies to consolidate invoicing if needed, for example, routing charges for multiple entities to a central headquarters.
