Managing your invoices is a huge part of freelance life. After all, you want to be paid for your work. But creating individual invoices for your clients and tracking their payment process also takes a lot of time. Time you could spend doing actual paid work.
That’s why many contractors are using tools to create their invoices. However, these tools only allow you to create and send your invoices, but not track their progress. Additionally, the payment process is usually detached from your invoices, creating another challenge if you need to be paid in a different currency.
Lano is taking invoice management a step further. Learn how our platform can help you not only efficiently manage your invoices, but also save time with our automated invoice templates and get paid in 28 different currencies.
Lano is a free invoicing tool that allows you to create individual and compliant invoices in a matter of seconds. You can also save your client’s billing information in digital client profiles that can easily be updated whenever changes occur.
This streamlined process helps you save time, while also making sure your invoice details are always up to date. But that’s not all Lano’s invoicing tool can help you with. You can also…
...extract project data automatically
...standardise all your existing invoices
...track your invoice’s approval and payment progress
...get paid in 28 local currencies
...accept credit card payments
Are you still adding your tasks and projects manually to your invoice? Then you are losing precious time you could spend working on new projects, acquiring new clients, or sharpening some of your business skills.
The Lano invoicing tool is freeing up this time for you, by automatically adding the most crucial information to your invoice. You can choose between 3 different types of invoice to begin with. These are:
Task-based invoices
Timesheet-based invoices
Free input invoices
All 3 types come with a free invoicing template that automatically fills in provided information, so you’ll only have to edit data that is missing in your profile. You can learn more about the 3 types of invoices in our help center article.
Create compliant contracts in minutes
Pay your team members in 28 different currencies
Grow your global team in 170+ countries
As a freelancer, chances are you’re not always getting paid on time. But how about if you could see detailed information about the payment status of your invoice? That’s exactly what you can do with Lano’s invoicing tool.
Once you have submitted an invoice via our platform, you will get detailed and real-time updates about it’s status, from submitting it, to it being approved or declined by your client, and being paid into your account.
Find more information about the status of invoices in this article.
The internet has enabled us to work globally, without limitations of borders or time zones. However, different currencies can make the payment process a bit complicated, as some clients choose to pass fees or exchange rates for different currencies on to you.
Our integrated Lano wallet enables global payments in 28 currencies, as well as sending money internationally without high fees and competitive exchange rates. Your client can simply top up their wallet with the currency they need and send out bulk payments in several currencies at once.
This process helps your clients save time and money, while ensuring you are being paid in your local currency. A win-win situation!
Another payment option is accepting debit or credit card payments with our partner Stripe. All you have to do is connect your bank account with Stripe and email your clients an invoice including a unique payment link.
Your client then has to click the link and is forwarded to the payment interface. You will be notified about incoming payments and can find all relevant information about your transactions in your Stripe account.
Learn how to link Stripe to your bank account and accept card payments.
